The hotel was fairly clean with very very helpful staff on the night shift. I had the single room which was beautifully maintained and brand-new with window on backyard. Could use an electronic key card, a work desk, and a flat screen TV.

I had a great stay at the Grand Palace Hotel. The location was perfect for visiting the nearby Christmas markets and the hotel itself was lovely. The room was a nice size and had everything I needed. The breakfast was also really good, with a nice selection of food. I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Varied and perfect breakfasts with the sparkling wine an added bonus, truly enjoyed it. The location for Hannover was magnificent, not far from shopping center and main train station.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. I also appreciated the complimentary soft drinks in the minibar.

The bed was comfortable and the room + bathroom big. Free internet worked perfectly. The personnel was friendly.
It smelled a little stuffy, my room had a temperature of 25,8 degrees since the air conditioning was broken in the whole hotel. I didn't know this in advance. Had to have the windows open and the street was loud. The plug of the bathtub was broken, but was fixed the following day. Cigarette smell came into my bathroom through a ventilation system. Apparently even though I'd requested a non-smoking room, there were smokers in the same floor.

The few staff that you saw were very friendly and efficient. The room was very spacious, the rest of the hotel is quite cramped with no outdoor option for relaxation outside of your room. In summary, a good clean hotel for a city break, and would see it more as a very good 3 star hotel.
They allow smoking in the bar which is dissapointing.
